Customer prices. Commission 5% of the rate-card price,
plus 20% of anything you sell above it.
Internal checking copy — not Ryan’s page
This copy carries trade costs and exists so Les and Kurt can sign the figures off. It is
a different file on a different URL behind the Attain password; Ryan’s own page has
no cost in it at all. Do not send this link to a closer, and delete this copy once the
numbers are approved.
What kind of job is this?
A retrofit is storage going into a property
that already has solar. Same rate card, same upsells — the roof simply comes
out of it, so the panels, mounting, scaffolding and the per-panel extras disappear
and labour becomes one fitting charge.

The system
—
—
Scaffolding
One side of scaffolding is included on
every job. Put the real number of sides in — only sides beyond the first are
added to the quote — or 0 if the job needs no scaffolding. Change it at any
time — the rest of the build stays exactly as you left it.
—
Depends on the property
Everything here follows the install
rather than the rate card — on every job, on some jobs, or on none.
Optional extras
Things the customer chooses to add.
Nothing here is driven by the property.
EV charger upsell
A separate sale with its own price
list. Every figure is what the customer pays, complete.
Tethered or untethered?Tethered means the charging cable is permanently attached to the unit
— unhook it, plug in, done. Fastest day to day, but the cable length and
the plug are fixed for the life of the unit, so it has to suit the car.
Untethered (sometimes called socketed) is a socket on the wall and the
driver uses their own cable — tidier when it is not in use and it fits
any car and any cable length, but the cable lives in the boot. Untethered is
the cheaper unit; tethered is the easier sell.
Labour & certification
On every job, already in the price
below. Nothing to set — labour scales with the number of panels.
Installation labour
—
Certification
—
Labour is the same on every job
One flat installation figure whatever the panel count, so the price does not
jump when a job crosses a bracket. It used to step 1,000 / 1,200 / 1,400 by
size: small jobs came out too cheap, and because the advertised price already
moves in even steps per panel, a labour rate that stepped as well made a quote
jump twice at the same point. Against the old rate that is +£200
on 1–10 panels, no change on 11–15, and −£200
on 16–20.
Certification is the G99/G98 application and the MCS registration that makes the
system eligible for export payments. It is the same on every job.
Travel & accommodation
A flat £300, and the only line not marked up
It covers hotel and diesel on a long job and is passed straight on at what it
costs — the customer pays exactly £300, no more. Because it carries
nothing on top, it does not grow your commission either.

How the uplift works
The rate-card price is the number to quote from. Anything you sell above it is
split 20% to you and 80% to Eco 2u, on top of your 5% of the
rate card. Selling below the rate card is not priced here — talk to Tom.
Next steps — save quotation
Quotes are filed by property. Type
the address and pick the existing folder, or type in the address and click Add folder.
Next steps — OpenSolar
One figure, entered once. Then build
the proposal around it.
This is the whole price
It already includes the kit, mounting, labour, scaffolding, certification and
anything you added on top. Put it in exactly as shown — nothing else
from this page goes into OpenSolar, and nothing is added to it.

These are customer prices
